I'm amazed that anyone who supports Trump would bring up Gennifer Flowers now. All it does is serve to remind us how AGHAST the GOP was at Clinton's philandering, but are totally ok with Trump's philandering, promiscuity, sexual harassment and sexual assaults. I guess it would have been ok if Flowers was a porn star and Clinton paid her off to keep her mouth shut so he could get elected?

Not just someone who accused him one week before the election, but someone who has stood by the story for years and years, maybe someone who he settled with in court.
Do you think people should be penalized based on an unproved claim? Yes or no.
I think claims should be thoroughly investigated.
If that means Kavanaugh would have to wait to be confirmed or to be replaced with another nominee and possibly suggested at a later date when there's time to investigate the claim against him, so be it.
That's not penalizing him at the expense of ignoring a woman's claim that she was sexually assaulted.

So if you were refused a job offer, simply based on a claim from some third party from decades ago, you would be ok with that?
If the job offer was for a job that was PERMANENT and LIFELONG and there was a claim of something as serious as sexual assault, I would expect it to at least be thoroughly investigated.
This isn't a job at Taco Bell, man.

If you were raped by some dude and you knew he raped you and you had been upset about it for years, and that guy was then being offered a job at such a high level that he could be making decisions that affected the very laws of this entire country, and you told others about it because you had questions regarding his fitness for that job, given what he had done to you... I am confident that you'd be upset that you were ignored.
I have been inappropriately groped before, too. I have not pressed charges, even though one of these instances, I was a child and I think the offender would have gone to prison.
But, neither person has ever been offered a job of any major consequence, that I am aware of. Nothing on a state or federal level, that's for sure.
If they were, I'd speak up.
