This has always been Trump's power, even when he launched his campaign. He controls the media narrative because he has the singular ability to whip them into a frenzy and get their political allies and apparatchiks to follow right along, acting and sounding insane, unhinged and hysterical. He's a do'er. What others threaten, he does, and by doing so, he infuriates the do-nothing's in the media-political complex who never accomplish anything but criticize what others do.
