So in other words, as demonstrated for decades, the US has zero care about all this human rights, freedom stuff, US interests only matter. I would not care and would agree, except it is just so damn hypocritical.
US wanted democratic elections in Saudi Arabia so they could place someone they could more closely control.

They can now hold democratic elections.

Both sides wanted to rig the elections. The purge renders the color revolution tactics rudderless since the latter requires a hand-picked successor with ties to the US.
