Multi-faceted issues require innovative multi-faceted solutions.

As wealthier residents exited the neighborhoods many years ago and the job base eroded coupled with below standard schools, oftentimes hopefulness and further marginalization of the residents often occur.

What is the solution?

Or, as many people may think, "Why should I care?"

Everyone speaks. But, not everyone listens.

One needs to be perceptive to what everyone is trying to say although the speaker may not be as articulate or coherent at times!

For everyone communicates either verbally and/or non-verbally and seeks confirmation that others receive the message and acknowledge accordingly!
Of all the people in the United States knowledgeable about the issues and solutions facing urban America,
the President selects a crazy hip hop black man who drops the f bomb in the oval office to listen to. It shows that the President and perhaps the Republican Party is not serious about their role in improving urban America.

I find the right’s vehement defense of Kanye’s sanity absolutely hilarious, particularly given his open support for Donald Trump is a standing indictment of said sanity.

+100. It's representative of much on the left, and is why so many of us who never chose sides for years finally said there's a lot we don't like about the right, but we will take the right over the viscious insults, outright lies and pure ineptitude of the left.

Here’s a good example of this racism BS that black men have to go through. Was listening to a sports program focusing on the Vikings and they interviewed Latavius Murray (Vikings Running Back). They made a big deal out of the fact that he’s a country music fan and sings Toby Keith songs with friends in a band they have. He had to sit an explain himself to these racist clowns who think he should be hip hop or whatever just because he’s black. I felt bad for him. The guy grew up in the country.

I think Kanye is more of a fan of freeing the minds of black people and Donald Trump is just a means to an end. I personally have believed for a long time that he’s probably got a genius level IQ and is eccentric.

nothing is more racist than saying all black people are the same....
...liberals demand that they be all the same

There's a picture of Trump sitting in the oval office and Jim Brown and Kanye (wearing that ridiculous hat)are standing beside him. He has that same wince (give a slight involuntary grimace or shrinking movement of the body out of or in anticipation of pain or distress) on his face that Nixon had when Sammy Davis Jr. Hugged him.

And yet when Obama had a rapper thug still on house arrest for kidnapping and assault, still with an ankle monitor on at the White House the left fell all over themselves to support him. When it's a rapper with conservative views he's an ignorant uncle tom. The only standard liberals have is a double standard.
