Yes, it is, and that's my point.

The last caravan started with thousands and the rhetoric was going as it is now, for this caravan........ and it turned out to be a big fat nothing.

Mexico has offered these migrants jobs which is what they said they wanted. They turned Mexico down and headed north.

Hmmm, kinda reminds me of the bums on the street corner with signs, "Will work for food" but when you offer them work, they curse you.

Can you guarantee that this time it will be "a big fat nothing"? CNN says that there are 4500 currently in this caravan.

Keep in mind that these people thought nothing of forcing their way into Mexico. They will think nothing of forcing their way into the US.

I don't take that lightly. The potential is there for BP agents to get injured or even killed. Many of the so-called asylum seekers could be killed if there is a stampede. Children, most likely, will get separated from the adults they were with (I won't say parents because, in the past, many were found to be with traffickers).

Of course not. I am advising to keep it in perspective, which I'm not seeing a lot of here.

I wouldn't want to stop in Mexico. They've got a bit of a cartel problem that isn't much different from what they're fleeing in the first place...

What is the exact number that WaPo claims? The first time I read the article, I couldn't find anything. The second time I went for another look, I hit their paywall.

Please quote from the article. Thanks.

To hear what those Hondurans claim, they make it sound even worse than Mexico. Apparently, those Hondurans who have requested asylum in Mexico feel it is safer than Honduras.
