Whatever needs to be done. This is why we have an executive branch and a president, to ENFORCE the laws on the books. Sorry that Honduras is a crap-hole, but you can't just march up here and expect to be let in. It doesn't work that way.

Except, that would conflict with the DEA 'narrative'...which is basically aiding and abetting the drug cartels, in other words, making sure the climate in the US is just right for them, laws against drugs, ensuring their shipments reach their destination consistently.

The problem is is that there isn't really any political will on either side of the isle to get this done. They can put a man on the moon for heaven's sake they can solve this issue if they really wanted to. The elite powers that be don't give a rip about the sovereignty of America and that is why nothing is getting done. It benefits too many people in the upper echelons for a myriad of reasons.

They are uneducated, unskilled, have no means of support, no grounds for asylum (I'll bet a dollar on that one!) and they will become a burden on our society. You want 'em? Sponsor someone and let them come live with YOU.

...and I'm mostly in favor of taking that same amount of money, housing, medical, etc and using it to help our own American citizens that are homeless...mostly because of drugs....and mostly because those drugs are coming across our open southern border
US law enforcement would suffer if the drug flow was suddenly stopped or decreased. they rely on a consistent flow of drugs coming in, to be able to wage the drug war...without a consistent drug supply, there can be no drug war.

Sponsoring is what is required with legal immigration and the left will never support that.

We've had millions of illegals in this country for decades before Trump became our President, don't be stupid.
