More to come. You want to ignore that voter fraud does exist. This is why Democrats fight against voter ID. And African Americans thought they were fighting for them, pfft. Your just a convenient way to push for no voter ID so they can cheat.

Nice to see there are recent stories concerning voting issues, such as ID or fraud, coming from both sides. What will the Blue people do now?

Im one of the blue people I suppose. Read my response above.

This isnt red vs blue when it comes down to it. This is about protecting our elections. I wish more on both sides cared about this topic. And no, the GOP folks are being hypocrites here when they ignore Russias actions.

If you noticed this was regarding absentee ballots, none of the voter ID laws address anything but in person voting. Strangely you cannot vote in person in many places in Texas but those very same people can send in an absentee ballot, that was brought up in one of the voter ID lawsuits.

The reason for the surge in voter ID laws is pure politics but they are really not an issue as long as they don't exclude legitimate voters.

Where in the world did you get the Nutty (and very wrong) idea that "you cannot vote in person in many places in Texas"?????

That's nonsense.

What is true, is that it's not common to Vote by Mail in Texas ..... I remember when Voting was ONLY on Election Day.

Vote by Mail in Texas:

If you’re interested in getting a mail-in ballot to vote in the election in your home county in Texas, there are a couple things you have to do.

Am I eligible to vote by mail?

The Texas Secretary of State says you must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for an absentee ballot.

You are 65 years or older;
disabled;
out of the county on Election Day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; OR
confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
If you meet one of these conditions, you can apply for a mail-in ballot.

It was discussed in the 5th circuit court hearing on SB14,in person voter ID requirements changed the ID requirements since then but absentee ballots remain the same. They did not go back and scrub the voter registrations.

It does say that the there was tampering in local elections and Democratic primary -- but it doesn't say whether the four women were Republicans trying to influence the Deomcratic primary or Democrats trying to influence the Democratic primary.

Tens of thousands -- really? Where do you get a number from -- your head?

The article says that one of the ladies had met with the head of the Tarrant County DNC.

If you read the CBS local link it will tell you all of the things you just asked about or tried to spin otherwise.

Hang on -- so you don't believe that a Republican would 'meet with a DNC official' as part of their scheme to tamper with an election?
