Simple solution to the problem: Require one parent to have permanent resident or citizenship status in the US for the child to obtain citizenship. This eliminates the problem of anchor babies, but doesn't cause any citizenship issues for the baby because in most countries the baby automatically has the same citizenship as the mother.
It's insane to allow this stuff, Trump is so correct to try to stop it.
I am for getting rid of it but it has to be done correct with a amendment, Trump doesn't or shouldn't have the power to use a EO on a constitutional amendment.
However it brings up another debate, some on the left associate immigration rights with standing up for people of color, will they also support white Russian people doing birth tourism or illegal immigration, will San Francisco offer immunity to white Russian immigrants?

While I generally agree about EO and think they should be used judiciously, until Congress does their job on this issue, he has the responsibility to protect our country and culture.
Many of these anchor babies are being used to eventually get the parents to be able to stay in a country, they have no desire to assimilate into.
Sure they want handouts provided by actual working citizens of our country, but are unwilling to conform to our cultural values if they don't have to.
As to illegal aliens flooding into our country or dropping anchor babies, rest assured the Democrats (being the hypocrites they are) would not want this happening if the people coming here were more likely to vote Republican.

Then why are they staying at Mara Lago and other Florida Trump properties for the birth? Maybe because Trump profits from these wealthy Russians? And, of course, they are not brown and poor. Talk about hypocrisy!
