Crooked Trump says the Democrats taking back the house was a tremendous success.

Rumor has it that he met with his lawyers tonight. I wonder why?

Sure it will be, but it makes little difference, they had control before & they still have control. But my guess is that either neither house does nothing for two years, or the Senate works with the House if they want to get legislation involving revenue introduced.

I see the Democrats are frantically moving the goalposts since it's clear they won't get the "blue wave" (40-50 seats gained in the House they bragged about for months) that they wanted. Suddenly the goal was never 40-50 seats, just a gain of 23 is the new "Blue Wave". We were never at war with Eurasia, as you earlier heard, we have always been at war with Eastasia instead. Got it?

As for what the Democrats will do now:

The Democrats will double down on their Trump hatred, investigating everything under the sun where no evidence exists ("the Mueller/Kavanaugh Effect") for the next two years, They will work even harder to RESIST everything Trump, including things that the nation wants (control of illegal immigration, reduction of government regulation, finally reducing huge deficits, adequately funding the military, using tariffs to get other countries to reduce THEIR tariffs against the U.S. etc.

They will then convene a committee to impeach both President Trump and SC Justice Brett Kavanaugh. There's a 50% chance that one or more articles might get voted out of the committee (just as a motivated prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich), but they will be voted down in the full house as the few remaining Democrats with sense will finally break ranks with the screeching fanatics and shoots down their wet dreams.

In doing so, the fanatic Democrats will arouse the ire of normal Americans, to the point where the liberals will be voted out of office in huge numbers in two years, also prompting voters to turn out in record numbers to re-elect President Trump in 2020.

You seem to be the one who’s frantic. Trump has dramatically increased our deficit with his tax reductions not reduced it. The goal of the blue wave was to take over the house to hold our president accountable

Thats a problem then, as most places I go and people I talk to, gun control is a very hot topic right now...

usually stuff that is important to the people is what politicians focus on and/or becomes one of the major issues.

But then again, LOTS of people talking about ending the drug war, but I dont think Ive heard a single candidate from any party, even talk about it this election cycle, so maybe they are not representing the interests of the people any longer?

November 6, 2018 may end up being the worst day of Trump's presidency.

The way he's just been doing whatever the hell wants because Republicans were too scared to do anything are over.

ADULTS are now back at the table of the American government

After the House Democrats subpoena Trump's tax returns, there will probably be no need for impeachment. His own party will force him out, when they see what all his crimes have been.
