So the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (A production of the United Nations) Special Report 15 is announcing yet another climate “tipping point,” this time 12 years away (conveniently at the end of the next decade in 2030).

Of course there have been numerous other such "tipping points" by essentially this same ideologically bound group of people that have come and gone without the doom scenarios predicted by these prognostications coming to pass. It is a clear pattern and practice of behavior that no intelligent, independent thinking, honest person will even try to deny.

The IPCC’s Latest Climate Hysteria

MIT Emeritus Professor of Atmospheric Physics Richard Lindzen accurately called the hysteria-laden report and press releases from this tunnel-visioned agency “implausible conjecture backed by false evidence and repeated incessantly … to promote the overturn of industrial civilization.”

In fact, the IPCC insists that fossil fuel use must be slashed from over 80 percent of global energy today to zero by 2050 – and the world must spend $2.4 trillion per year for the next 17 years to subsidize the transition to renewable energy. That’s on top of the $2 trillion per year already being spent on Climate Crisis, Inc. research, consulting, carbon trading and renewable projects. The likely total bill: $60-80 trillion by 2036!

These massive upheavals are essential, the IPCC claims, because average global temperatures cannot be allowed to rise more than another 0.5 degrees C (0.9 F) “above pre-industrial levels.” That’s around 1850, when the Little Ice Age ended. Indeed, the IPCC now says all warming since then is due to fossil fuels!

{More at the link}
So, all fossil fuel use must be completely stopped by 2050. That is 32 years. The logisitics of that are completely impossible and the people writing this report know it.

But wait, there is more. The world must spend $2.4 Trillion per year to transition the world to "renewable" energy. When they say "the world" must spend, know for certain that they expect the United States to shoulder the vast majority of that load.

All that to supposedly "stop" average global temperatures from rising 0.5 degrees above what they were at the end of the little ice age, which ended about 1850 - which was a low point in the temperature cycle.

So, is this latest "tipping point" warning report something we should literally shut off and destroy our economy for, immediately and with full deference to the warnings of these same people who have been so consistently wrong for so many years?

Look on the bright side... we could end global warming by mandating the IPCC produce a new report every 10 years!

The climate experts are telling you that man made climate change is real and needs to stop. It's time that you listen!!!

It’s pretty much like the patient whose doctor said medical tests indicated stage 3 cancer and recommended a course of life saving treatment. The patient gets emotional calls the doctor a quack and just ignores the situation. The planet’s at stage 3 and we have about 100 years or so before a catastrophe occurs. The devastation wrought by man made climate change is the single greatest threat faced by humanity.

Historically the average global temperature is around 17C and we've been around 11-12 so it needs to warm WAY up to get back to the mean/normal condition.

CO2 is food for plants. We need more CO2 to increase yields and feed all these damn people.

Climate Change theorists will never win, because they'll never be able to prove anything.
They're doomed.

You may want to reconsider your perception. It's not validated by science.

The carbon dioxide we pump into the atmosphere is making our food less nutritious

From the Australian Morning Mail:
If climate disaster is nigh, at least we’ll be spared IPCC reports
Evidently, the difference *between the world temperature rising by 2C and 1.5C is huge. More people being inundated, more floods/droughts, greater destruction of biodiversity, hardly any coral reefs left. You know, the normal catastrophic stuff.

The IPCC has been calling for a tipping point every year since they were created in 1988.

What they couldn't know was that the temperatures would become stagnant for the last 15 years. They also didn't let facts get in the way of their agenda: to rape Western Civilization of as much wealth as possible.

When you have a mechanic look at your car do you open your wallet or do you get more quotes?

These "experts" are all after one thing, money.

We need more fat non scientists like Al Gore preaching junk science to us. That’s what we need.

It's charming how climate change deniers, with absolutely no training whatsoever in the field, think they know more than climate scientists. You think climate scientists aren't aware of average global temperatures and their indications? Cherry-picking decontextualized numbers is all the deniers can do, since they don't understand the larger scientific contexts or implications.

And climate scientists haven't been "consistently wrong." They have predicted, repeatedly, that things would get worse, and they have. It's called "positive feedback" in complex systems science.

Yes, we must spend $2.5 trillion to transition to renewable energy. Currently, the U.S. taxpayer gives away approximately $17 billion in subsidies every year to oil and gas interests, the most profitable industry in the world, yet invests relatively nothing, by comparison, in renewables. That's $17 billion/year of free money, our tax dollars, to reward (i.e., buy votes from) interests that are destroying the planet.

We don't follow the guidelines of the IPCC and we'll see what a "destroyed economy" really looks like.

Some people love their conspiracy theories more than they love their children.
