If it were not true, I'd think someone was insane, if they told me people are protesting Jeff Sessions getting canned and it is not who you would think them to be.

I was just wondering the same thing. I think Sessions' firing is a convenient excuse for the rabble who are just bent on being big nuisances.
To be clear, NOBODY on the left loves Jeff Sessions, that cannot be understated.
But in this scenario, Jeff represents a semblance of sanity and has exhibited a respect for the rule of law with regard to the Mueller investigation. He followed proper protocol and while he’s still the devil in loafers, we need him in place to ensure none of Trump’s criminal cronies taint the investigation, that’s it. There’s nothing more to it.
But make no mistake, we’re fully aware that Sessions is still the same bigot that Correta Scott King warned us about, and nobody has lost sight of that.
In the event that Mueller’s investigation comes back clear, we will return to our regularly scheduled programming - disgust with Jeff Sessions, you can count on it.

^^^^ The Trumpees would prefer to believe otherwise, but this is the reality of the situation. Sessions is no Prince, but he at least showed some integrity by standing up to Trump over Mueller. Now, Trump will put his puppet in there, and will think he can do whatever he pleases with no repercussions .
It just goes to show that the looney left will oppose everything Trump does even if there is no reason for them to do so. They protested for the same reason when Sessions was selected.
