It just dawned on me a few minutes ago how self centered and childish so many are, me included. While we post here arguing about which party did better on Tues and who may or may not be in trouble we might want to step back and think about those who really have things to be concerned about.

Just think of those killed in Thousand Oaks Ca including a peace officer. Then read about the fires in NO Ca that have now wiped out an entire town of about 30,000 people. The town of Paradise is close to my heart, as it is where my parents chose to retire many years ago.

We can continue to discuss which party is the best and we will always disagree I am sure. But while we are discussing politics let us remember those who are suffering so much with more than politics on their minds right now

Every person for themselves, selfishness is an inborn survival-instinct.

Sure, things can and do override this base-instinct....but as divided and nasty that the USA is, look for less and less good-will-toward-man.

If people spent all their time on what truly mattered, there’d be no city-data.

As long as it isn't thinking for others, I'm down with it.

Good post. Folks shouldn't let the current political divide make them forget that we are all Americans. My heart goes out to those in California impacted by this latest fire and this latest shooting.

Im thinking of others. Just had one of my guys smash into my hand between the trailer and hitch. Apparently Stop Woah means Stomp and Go...

LOL poor guy thinks I'm going to fire him... all worked up about it he's vomiting LOL poor bastard.
Dude I could have cut your hand off or cut you in half! I'm so sorry!
Chit happens. Guess I'll have to wire in a back up camera for him so he can hook trailers up on his own...

Now to find a lighter nail or screw unless there's a bottle of whiskey in my truck... and a roll of duct tape.
Love smashed finger nails LOL

Poor guy is physically shaking.
LOL I'm laughing about it I don't know what to do for him other than tell him to laugh it off chit happens.

E Pluribus Unum has never been considered controversial. The motto, which is Latin for "out of many, one," was adopted by the Founding Fathers in 1782 as part of the Great Seal of the United States, intended to represent the federal nature of the nation - out of many states, one country. The framers sharply disputed many issues in the formation of the nation, but E Pluribus Unum was not one of them.

The money it is printed or stamped on is the only important thing to most and sadly the E Pluribus Unum has no meaning anymore and most folks likely do not even know what it means.

well that may be true, but my thoughts are more about the constant bickering that goes on and some o us are not even civil to others. Debating is one thing, turning everything into a major< I am right post is another.
