Looks like it should be easy to beat a guy who “didn’t even want to win” then

Does Donald J. Trump regret running for POTUS?

Who knows what goes on in his mind?

He kind of talked about this topic yesterday in a round about way:

Speaking to reporters on the White House lawn, Trump said, “I was running my business while I was campaigning. There was a good chance that I wouldn’t have won, in which case I would have gotten back into the business. And why should I lose lots of opportunities?”

For once, perhaps there is some grain of truth in his words? Running for president was just one of several angles he was pursuing at the time. Trump’s candidacy was never about the country. It was always about the family business, and still is.

P.S. Trump Organization continued to seek Russian President Vladimir Putin’s approval for the proposed Moscow tower at least through June 2016 — a fact that was hidden from voters by Trump’s myriad bald-faced lies. ( all on tape or film or whatever the technology is called)

^Agree! Yet, not one of Trump’s fans in this thread have the cojones to call this behavior corrupt. Instead, some say Obama is corrupt for writing and making money on a post-term book. This is why I can’t take them seriously.

Agreed. He's spending more time golfing now than he ever has.

after 8 years of listening to Obama lie about his failed health insurance program, people wanted a change.

Well, this is difficult poll because it assumes that the man thinks like we do!

I would put it this way. IF he ever was self=retrospective, then he WOULD regret it. But he's not. Just like he's never sorry for anything nor has he done anything wrong.

There is no "there" there to think....like most of us are used to doing everyday. He killed that part of himself decades ago.
