I know that Leftists are wedded to the idea that he will resign or be impeached - neither will happen.

I’m sure it’s stressful on his family, but they seem to deal well with the unrelenting Hostility of the Media pretty well. Trump will continue to do the job he was elected to do despite the Obstruction of the Left.

He was Rich and Famous before he was President, that won’t change.
One of his greatest strengths is that he doesn’t fear the Media, he never has.
Did you see him endlessly ramble during his interview yesterday before the helicopter? About his dealings in Russia being very cool and very legal?? He looked pretty nervous to me. In law school "very legal" meant "not too legal".

Not only him, but I think his grown sons and daughter (Ivanka only, as I’m not sure about Tiffany) regret this entire debacle.

Do you think Trump regrets it?

Maybe. Who knew that the Democrats and the left were going to be this vile and repugnant? Is this how every election will be for now on? Every time the dems lose a presidential election, they will criminalize the Republican winner, and his family?

The sad thing is, if Trump were to say publicly, that he wished he hadn't run, the dems would view it as a victory and celebrate. There is way too much hate in today's politics.

Who knows what goes on in his mind?

He kind of talked about this topic yesterday in a round about way:

Speaking to reporters on the White House lawn, Trump said, “I was running my business while I was campaigning. There was a good chance that I wouldn’t have won, in which case I would have gotten back into the business. And why should I lose lots of opportunities?”

For once, perhaps there is some grain of truth in his words? Running for president was just one of several angles he was pursuing at the time. Trump’s candidacy was never about the country. It was always about the family business, and still is.

P.S. Trump Organization continued to seek Russian President Vladimir Putin’s approval for the proposed Moscow tower at least through June 2016 — a fact that was hidden from voters by Trump’s myriad bald-faced lies. ( all on tape or film or whatever the technology is called)
So you would expect someone, who owns and runs a multi-billion dollar ww business, to turn their back on their business because they're running for president? It would be hard to separate the man from the business in this instance, it's not like it is just a peanut farm.

Why are people [tabloid seekers?] suddenly hanging on to Stern's every word?

Yep. Weird that people don't know that he did intend to win, but then the easily led are told to believe that he didn't.

You don't know many Christians, do you. Christians know that no mortal man can be a messiah and Trump is just as mortal as anyone else. Don't know why the haters would even think of elevating a human to be a messiah...oh wait...

Your messiah, perhaps?

I would say he probably does regret becoming president. I remember his early comments about the White House being a dump and his welcome to paradise comments. I'm reading Fear now and he really is in over his head. Woodward doesn't paint a gossipy picture, but, I just read a section about how one of his advisors was trying to explain to him about how the economy works. It's a tad disturbing to say the least.

Given the exposure into the inner workings of Trump organization and the criminal enterprise it paints, his Trump foundation being exposed as a slush fund, his mob ties and possible money laundering, his porn star escapades, the vulnerable position he's placed his children in, and the fear of being assassinated because more than half the country hates him, what's to regret? I'm in the yes I'm sure he regrets becoming president. At best he gets away with his mob boss antics and becomes even richer, at worst, his whole criminal empire is dismantled and he loses a ton of money. Look at Manafort. Do you think he regrets being part of the Trump organization? Cohen? Just about everyone he touches is destroyed.

Oh lordy berdee. Really? What a bunch of hooey. This thread is about Trump and him regretting being POTUS.

If he or she is a criminal and the family is a corrupt criminal organization, yes they will. That is what Democrats promote. Accountability and truth to power.

Bill and Hilary did not stop their Foundation, after she was the Secretary of State. In fact, some of their biggest paydays were while she was SECSTATE.

So Trump is a criminal? For what crime, winning an election?

Wait a tic, you mean for Trump's objectionable words in some tweets.
