Trump is not a politician. He'll shut down the government in a heartbeat and leave it shutdown if he doesn't get money for his wall. Dems have never dealt with a guy like this. They will have to give him money for the wall.
watch and learn
We watched as Trump claimed that Mexico would pay for the wall. He was wrong. So what did we learn? That Trump is a liar.
But nobody that has any sense wants the wall because it's ability to stop illegal immigration is minimal at best. People still get over the border in sections of the country where there is a wall. Why waste money on something that won't work? That money could be better spent on immigration policies that already exist like bringing the people who hire illegals to justice with stiff prison sentences.
what was the purpose of Bill Gates and Zuckerburg building a barrier around their properties?
In my state McSally campaigned on the wall and border security mostly with one ad after another saying "the wall, the wall, the wall". McSally lost in this red border state. The wall is just not a priority here.
The term “criminal alien” refers to aliens who have been convicted of one or more crimes, whether in the United States or abroad, prior to interdiction by the U.S. Border Patrol; it does not include convictions for conduct that is not deemed criminal by the United States. Arrests of criminal aliens are a subset of total apprehensions by U.S. Border Patrol.
But people like the OP don't give a damn about that....
