Sherin Khankan is founder of the Miriam Mosque in Copenhagen, and is Denmark's only female Imam. Above is a BBC interview of her. She sounds to me very much progressive, an SJW if you will. The work at Miriam Mosque is 90% social activism; only 10% is the worship of Allah. People come from all over Europe to get married there, because most Mosques do not allow marriage between non-Muslim males and Muslim females.

Note that the first two Muslim females elected to the US House, Rashida Tlaib (top left) and Ilhan Omar (top right) are both solid progressives, and close allies of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Contrary to popular misconception, there is possible commonality between Islam and progressivism. Both seek to engender better life choices. Both reject the libertarian mentality that individuals left to their own devices will make the best choices.

With almost 2 billion Muslims world-wide (about 24% of world population), such alliance could be of monumental impact. It could mean whole new world-wide vistas for progressivism. Do you think that such burgeoning and fruitful alliance could happen in the future?

The Muslim polticians you pictured here are more socially libertarian than the average Republican.

Liberals and Muslims have long been allies in the "war" against their common enemies: Christianity and western civilization.

It is no coincidence that both liberals and Muslims embrace totalitarian sentiments and a rejection of the American Constitution and the rule of western law. Totalitarians and Islam have been "bedfellows" for hundreds of years; keep in mind that there were two Muslim SS divisions and the Islamic world embraced the goals of Hitler to wipe out Jews across the world.

Is it not peculiar that the "favored son" of leftism, Obama, would often have members of the Muslim brotherhood in the White House?
