A military couple reenacted the classic WW II kiss between a sailor and a nurse after a seven-month deployment.
On Dec. 21, sailor Bryan Woodington, 33, stepped off the USS The Sullivans at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, Fla., eager to greet Kenneth, his husband of one year. According to News 4 Jax, Bryan was one of 300 sailors returning to their families after seven months in the Persian Gulf and Europe.
Seems like at least half of the couple has the right frame of mind about it all:
...“There are people who see the beauty in it,” Kenneth tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “As for those who don’t, have a nice day.”...
As long as no laws are being broken by the "disapprovers", I'm a solid "meh" about the whole thing. I'm far from shocked that some people were upset by it, sadly.
They have a right to live the life they choose just as those around them have a right not to care for their choice. Freedom is a double edged sword.
Many are open-minded about having homos do what they like in the privacy of their own dwellings. That said this was purposeful by publicly imitating iconic heteros in the same fashion. Many people find it repulsive and disgusting to see.
But I guess only liberals/leftists must be protected from things that "trigger them".
This was likely an activist stunt just to stir the pot and try to put unnatural homo affection in public by imitating natural hetero affection.
The homo activists are no longer satisfied with the ability to live as they choose, and now demand public acceptance of their deviant behavior.
As is with liberals malcontent natures, they will push the homo and tranny stuff too far, and there will be a backlash over it. Heck the latest acronym for the all the sexual deviancy is now LGBTIQQCAPGNGFNBA.
Sadly, I am not joking.
I don't know why anyone would care. People sometimes recreate that kiss and have a pic taken of it. It's a famous historical photograph. The fact that they are gay is a non-issue these days.
It was a far better country with a much higher class of citizens when the first kiss occurred. It’s not comparable at all.
Yeah, in 1945, Americans were a REAL classy bunch. Unless, you know...you wanted to drink from a certain water fountain or sit anywhere you wanted on a bus. Or maybe you wanted to eat at a lunch counter of your choice.
But let’s not quibble over subtleties, aye??
