I'm not sure all conservatives want to turn back the clock to those times, just that they want people to be mindful that they were in a different time.

Now when thinking of turning back the clock, that would make us younger. Not such a bad idea

How many millennials do you know?

Just asked a friend, born in 1993, about Seinfeld. Loves it.

Hey, but whatever, keep fighting the fight.

“Seinfeld” might offend young people, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Millennial-focused website Bustle is taking heat for publishing a listicle that examines all the reasons why “Seinfeld” would be a little too edgy in the modern climate of policing everything that isn’t deemed politically correct.

I never found the Seinfeld show to be funny but to each his own.
I'm not a Millennial either.

I remember when we were young our parents were the ones worried about what is too edgy. This is crazy!

Er, I made the point a few posts above that Millennials, like other generations, frequently like things that came before their time. That was my whole point in jumping in the thread. Did you miss that part? T

And I'm a teacher. I've taught Millenials and Generation Z.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. It was a show about Jews. So what?

It's tied to changes in parenting. I ask the students every semester about the issue of "helicopter parenting," and it is now an instant reaction from the majority of students that, yes, parents generally lord over their kids and try to spare them discomfort at all costs and try to solve their problems for them. Most of the kids also have some sense that this is not a good thing. Little wonder, though that some of them instantly call for adult intervention, even in the late teens and early twenties to solve disputes or to silence people whose ideas they dislike.

Because the powers that be want as many FOB's as possible. Their top priority is demographic transformation.
