I guess now the Democratic party politicians have goals to how many members of congress they have based on religion.

Wow, it seems like the Democrats want people elected solely based on religion, gender and race. They could care less about policy.

I personally vote for any politician that matches my very conservative views and could care less about religion, gender or religion as long as they support America's current elected commander and chief like President Trump, Brilliant impartial supreme court justices like Scalia and Thomas.

Sadly, Democrats seem to care less about economic policies and national security and only focus on indentity politics.

Some Democrat members of congress are also mocking Vice President Pence's Christian faith

The demographics of Congress should match the demographics of America. Do you have a problem with that?

They will rule via sharia law with mandatory female genital mutilation. Women won't be able to divorce their husbands but their husbands could divorce them. No driving either. They must cover their hair or Muslim men will rape them.

Good times ahead!

Yeah. That is not how it works. In fact, that is called a quota, and is explicitly illegal.

For all of you who believe dogmatically in multiculturalism, this is where is it going. Are the Balkans and the Middle East all that great for being multicultural? If so, why not just move there? We know why.

Conversely, is Japan, a small island, not the third largest economy in the world? How is that possible when the severely restrict immigration?

Wake up before it is too late.

As long as they don't get the idea that they are going to implement Sharia law or turn this country into Saudi Arabia. It's not happening.

I'm missing the concern or issue here. If a congressional district has a heavy muslim population and a muslim congressman gets in then what is the issue. We vote for representatives and that congressional district did just that, don't like it then run someone against those candidates. Im in the south and bubble thumping evangelicals have been voting in congressmen that follow that same view for decades. Arguments on Birth Control, Abortion, censoring of music and movies, criminalizing marijuana, and probation are all based heavy in religious views of christians. Republicans are just starting to realize allowing religion to have a heavy influence in politics may have been a mistake if you don't believe int he religion that is giving influence.

You think Mike Pence constant bible thumping is ok? Then don't go crazy when another religion does the same thing, Republicans gave all political groups with religious bases the playbook on how to insert religion into politics.
