ISIS is just one Sunni faction in the Sunni/ Shia war that has been going on for over a thousand years. Let’s get out of it.

Do liberals ever ask why they lost the poorly educated white vote or are they happy mocking those with less education?

My issue isn't with the withdrawal. My issue is with Government telling me falsehoods right to my face . It's scary how they don't feel any shame when doing it. Then again. Why worry about lying to the American people when you have millions of supporters ready to take to the streets for you.

There was very poor voter turnout in 2016, but that all changed when many realized that by not participating they allowed this incompetent racketeer to slither into The Oval Office.

It was a record turnout by raw numbers and the percentile turnout was approximately the same as 2012.

While true, it was not Trump that got us into this mess.

Liberals want to educate and train that population so they can share in prosperity.

You certainly can't reason with someone who is hungry, sick or struggling. Points of nuance become moot.

Oh, as far as ISIS:

"The CRS report quoted a Defense Department spokesman, Cmdr. Sean Robertson, as saying ISIS is probably as dangerous as al-Qaeda in Iraq was at its peak in the mid-2000s.

CRS report, Sept. 25, 2018: Defense Department officials assess that the Islamic State “is well-positioned to rebuild and work on enabling its physical caliphate to re-emerge,” and “probably is still more capable than Al Qaeda in Iraq at its peak in 2006-2007, when the group had declared an Islamic state and operated under the name Islamic State of Iraq. …”"

So, Mission Accomplished because it is MORE dangerous than Al Qaeda????

Hey, if Trump wants to get out of the entire ME I'm all for it. But don't lie to me or the American people about it. Say it.....

If I'm not wrong he promised to get us out, right??

Ron Paul on Trump:

"he is different from so many Republicans who want us to be everywhere all the time around the world. They want us to be the world policeman, that every war on the planet we have to have our soldiers involved with.

President Trump said he was going to treat America first. I think bringing some of that money home, whether it goes towards border security or building bridges or roads in our country."

So, in two years, how much has our military budget went down and how much was invested into our infrastructure? It seems to me that we borrowed MORE money, something that would seem to be the opposite of bringing money home.

Oh, and Trump DID put us into Syria in terms of boots on the ground and a big way.

"The US missile strike on the Shayrat Airbase conducted on 7 April 2017, was the first time the US has become a deliberate direct combatant against the Syrian government,[126] and marked the start of a series of deliberate direct military action by the U.S. military against the Syrian government′s and pro-government forces in May–June 2017 and February 2018.

How soon you forget. Syria is Trumps deal...

"In mid-January 2018, the Trump administration indicated that it intended to maintain an open-ended military presence in Syria to counter Iran's influence and oust Syrian president Bashar Assad.[128] In early September 2018 the United States started to implement a new strategy that indefinitely extends the military effort"

Reality may sometimes be a hard pill to swallow, but never the less it is real. Trump has shown himself to be a warmonger - going into new countries, celebrating the sale of arms to the Saudis, etc.

And NONE of the money has come home to America First.

Summary- Pence and Trump Mission Accomplished is BS.

What is the US doing in Syria: getting rid of Asad or ISIS. Doing both is impossible.

The case for the US being in Afghanistan is much more simple: get out. The opposition to any form of central government, let alone one directed by a foreign invader is much too great.
