Trump has grounded all of Congress

Quote:
“Under no circumstances during a government shutdown will any government owned, rented, leased or chartered aircraft support any Congressional delegation, without the express written approval of the White House Chief of Staff," wrote Russell Vought, acting director of the Office of Management and Budget.

"Nor will any funds appropriated to the Executive Branch be used for any Congressional delegation travel expenses, without his express written approval,” Vought’s memo said.

Well done Mr. President

Commercial plane does not mean you are assigned a seat. It means it is not a private plane but rather a commercial enterprise.

People charter commercial planes all the time. There's a whole business around it. Who knew, eh?

Here's a website on commercial jet charter prices.

https://www.jet-miles.com/commercial...ter-price.html

See what the cost is to charter a jet to reality.
You and I both know what was meant by commercial and it isn't a private charter of a jet. I checked on prices to get to reality and apparently the only cost is giving up being a democrat and embracing logic and common sense. You should book a flight quickly!

BS.

The original tradition is a written report to Congress.

But when has Trump cared about tradition?

SOTU is political pageantry. It can wait until after the shutdown is over.

Or, as Pelosi has suggested, he can deliver it from the Oval Office. They can all watch it at home. Save on costs.

Or teleconference as the Congressional group is doing for their Afghanistan meetings.

Melania isn't that old, c'mon.

I wonder how she gets back to the White House now.

Pelosi isn't in control here and neither are democrats. The President will do what he feels is best for the nation and you people will just have to deal with it.

Trump did own a Vineyard, he told us about it while he was praising nazis in Chancellorsville, but you're right.

One of them takes off their clothes and married for money, and has no other achievements to their name.

The other is a distinguished politician, who is in her second stint as Speaker of the House, and is 2nd in line to be President.

Definitely not comparable.
