If so, they (meaning Pelosi, since she's pulling all their strings) are being stupid. If they do that it will play right into Pres. Trump going over their heads, and doing it all on his own. Open government, and fund the wall that is.

Before you say: "But he can't do that", I'd bet there's some sort of plan that he CAN do that legally if the Dems refuse to even negotiate anything.

I covered that earlier. Even if he does something he can't do and the courts block him he still wins.

So it looks like he has cobbled together a mishmash of things the Democrats have rejected before. How is this negotiating in good faith? It's not. It's political grandstanding. Which is the intent.

He should something they actually want, like citizenship for Dreamers. That would be a real starting point. Offering things they previously rejected is not.
