So if it was an emergency why didn't Trump try Before December to get the Senate Democrats to go his way because his party wasn't backing him 100 per cent.
It doesn't make sense. You wait until after you get burned in the House in the midterms and then you decide you want to chat with the Democrats.
Trump fans can try and convince themselves this is all the big bad Dems...but the Republicans had control of the House, and the Senate. They didn't get it because it isn't what those politicians are hearing from their constituents -- and it isn't just Dems.
they didn't have the 60 votes to override the filibuster. it makes me wonder if the emergency declaration was the plan the whole time but who knows
Will Pelosi hold America and Americans hostage again for political gain? Will they come to an agreement? Will President Trump have to defend America by himself and declare a National Emergency?
seems to me trump shut the government down and was proud to do so =

Yes, she will. He called her bluff. She said they could talk when the government was open.
So what do you think happens? Will congress send a LEGIT bill that he will sign, will he have to declare an emergency?
They already have, more than one. He'll get border funding, but he's not getting his wall.
He might try to declare an emergency, but that's basically declaring defeat as well, since it will be tied up in the courts long after he's gone from the White House.
So no wall there either.
Basically, what happens is, no wall.
Trump is a lame duck already. He has no support outside of his little minority of mindless sycophants.
I am probably enjoying this more than I should be.

Actually since its a national emergency courts will fast track it. So we WILL get the wall one way or the other. Its sad to see so many leftists that WANT more Angel mom and dads and MORE raped Americans and MORE murdered cops at the hands of illegals. All for some political votes.
Baby Trump throws another tantrum as he doesn’t get his wall paid by US, so he goes the emergency route which then goes to court for awhile before being shut down as not being a real emergency.

Pelosi didn't hold America hostage. Trump said he would proudly own this shutdown. And we let him.

Even the CBP doesn't think a "wall" is all that is needed. It's a complicated issue. I hope the two parties will get together and do something about border security now.
