I also think this was probably not real. Owner is a liberal snowflake wanting to "draw attention" to what he considers a problem, like how the racist messages at the Air Force Academy turned out to be written by a black cadet, how that mosque was burned down by one of its own members, and how that Muslim girl who was assaulted in the subway by white racists actually invented that story. I'd say at least a quarter if not half of hate crimes accusations are fake.
That gay black actor that claimed he was attacked may also have made up that story as no evidence of that alleged event even exists!!!!! The Muslim girl did injure herself and claim it was a hate crime.
Plus I don't see someone simply say they don't tip immigrants. Most people know we are descended from immigrants. The most pro-wall people I know don't deny their immigrant ancestors and simply stress they came legally. If the receipt had said they don't tip "illegals" that would have been a bit more believable.
Obvious hoax. Terminology is suspect and the waitress would have noticed there was writing on the back of the check. The first thing they do is see how much they are tipped and would have notice the impression from the pen. Usually it’s the wait staff pulling a stunt like this but the owner wanted free publicity.
Well, white guys are even getting in on the act now.
Guy got a tip saying "we don't tip white people" and has a 5k gofundme goal to fix his car etc.
Lol....unless you have the persons name and can confirm they wrote it, we've had about 4 of these turn out to be fake. Unless you can prove it, then I'm just going to shrug. There are plenty of real stories that CAN be verified without having to take the word of someone with an unprovable story and a gofundme page.
If you disagree with me then I respect your opinion, I suggest you donate to those gofundme pages and put your money where your mouth is. After all Ted needs car repairs. lol.
P.S. I've seen scams like this for years, we had a gal in town pretend to have medical issues....turns out the money went to pay off a DUI she'd gotten.

I wonder what the outcome and comments would be like if we had a story like this but the receipt merely had the word "Racist" written on it.
