I don't think Illinois strips voting rights of felons. (As they shouldn't IMHO.)

Look at the bright side. Some good campaign video to use against Cory Booker. What a mortifying mope he is. Jumped right on the racist bandwagon, but hit a rock and got dumped on his a$$.

If he's in prison, he won't be able to vote. And I think they should strip felons rights to vote just like felons aren't allowed to exercise their second amendment. I really do think if someone is not fit to own a gun, then they are not fit to vote. End of story.

Given the "hate crime attack" that Jussie tried to fake, now is a good time to remind everyone of the FBI hate crime stats.

https://ucr.fbi.gov/hate-crime/2017/...es/table-5.xls

Key take-aways:

Of the 508 hate crimes on gay men where they knew the race, 263 were by whites, 222 were by blacks.

Anti-trans was 37 white....40 black...

This despite a 6x population difference.

Now in fairness, urban areas have more concentrations of both blacks and gays so there is the whole opportunity thing.
I don't have a way to normalize for that but well, keep reading even when you include non-gay hate crimes the numbers are ugly.

I find the meme that Jussie was trying to perpetuate about MAGA types being the violent hate crime types to be dishonest and misleading.

Many of you have tried to spin that same story but the statistics tell a different tale.

Total hate criminals were roughly 3200 white / 1200 black, again....6x population difference.

Just something to ponder the next time you think about racists and those that commit hate crimes.

If someone serves time, pays their debt to society it makes zero sense to me that they lose their right to vote.

We can agree to disagree.

They can't let this guy walk. Imagine the message that would send. If this guy were to walk with nothing more than some fines and a slap on the wrist, and then gets glorified by the mouth breathers in the Dem party, hoaxes are going to skyrocket. Additionally, despite the non stop whining and wailing about Trump and his supporters, it's going to ratchet up to a level we couldn't even imagine.

A lot of time will be wasted, a lot of money will be wasted, and a lot of people will be targeted who didn't do anything.

They would be stupid to let him walk.

Does this idiot Smollett have any idea how much damage he has done to the cause he obviously cherishes so much?
