I've never thought of it that way, but I believe you're correct. But I also want to point out that I'm of the opinion that Obama was extremely divisive, particularly during his second term. That set the tone, the queen of mean just ramped it up.
And now we don't have discussions or debates, we have screaming matches. Watching our politicians and people who buy into the claptrap on both sides is like watching The View. I can't hear anything but unhinged yelling.
