Foxconn said that it remained committed to creating 13,000 jobs in Wisconsin and that it was “moving forward with plans to build an advanced manufacturing facility.”

Taiwan company promised to build a factory in Wisconsin that would provide 13,000 blue collar factory jobs in exchange for 10 billion in tax incentives.
A total bait and switch! Now, after receiving the tax credits, the company will instead be primarily a research and development center staffed by scientists and engineers from China!
You don't think any tax incentives are tied to job creation or some similar goal. I am sure it does although admittedly I don't really know the details.

lol
Meaningless, and they are probably attempting to appease a president who harshly attacks people who he has perceived have 'crossed' him.
They are building a facility for upscale better-paying white collar jobs, and not blue, as promised to Trump.
They can remain 'committed' to building an advanced manufacturing for the next 5 years, and still not do it.
They explained that they are not building the manufacturing facility, because it is not needed, as there is already an overcrowded tv screen market in the country. They aren't going to waste their time and money just to make Trump happy.
Globalism has ironically, foiled Trump.
"...Now, those plans may be scaled back or even shelved, Louis Woo, special assistant to Foxconn Chief Executive Terry Gou, told Reuters. He said the company was still evaluating options for Wisconsin, but cited the steep cost of making advanced TV screens in the United States, where labor expenses are comparatively high..."
Already posted a dozen times in this topic. Go back and look at my past posts. I'm not looking it up for you as rebuttal to the argument that since you haven't seen it, it can't be true.
Here's another question. Why are you hoping and searching for the worst?
WTH does that mean? Do tax payers "hand pay" government liabilities?
But yes, Foxconn got what they wanted ultimately from WI taxpayers. BTW, why did you delete your post?

the state would have to pay Foxconn a lot of money. About $4.5 billion to be exact. Since the state already has very low tax rates for manufacturers, much of this subsidy will be paid directly in cash rather than as tax credits.
This is a staggering amount of money — about $1,800 per Wisconsin taxpayer — for a factory like this
This summer, the roar of bulldozers replaced the sound of tractors over thousands of agricultural acres outside of Racine in southeastern Wisconsin. Road, water, and electricity infrastructure construction was well under way for a new industrial complex for Foxconn, the Taiwan-based technology giant. In the project’s master plan, Foxconn will eventually own 4.5 square miles of once-prime Wisconsin farmland, an expanse about a fourth the size of the city limits of nearby Racine, population 77,000. The main 24-inch water main will have the capacity to deliver more than 20 million gallons a day of high-quality Great Lakes water (home to 21 percent of the world's remaining supply),
so what is happening is no 10000 low paying jobs...but still nearly 10000 jobs coming to Wisconsin, high paying jobs....
Google only has 20,832 people working in R&D company-wide. Keep in mind, only about 20K work at their Mountain View, CA headquarters, which means that "techy" jobs are only a fraction of that number. There is no way on Earth Foxconn is putting 10K "high paying" jobs in Wisconsin when Google might not even have 10K R&D workers in Mountain View.
