Maybe he was in dress rehearsal for a local production of Birth of a Nation?

Are we sure he wasn't just dressed as a coal miner?

The election was 14 months ago. I feel bad for Team Red's operatives who were in charge of digging up dirt on Northam. How didn't they find this out sooner?

I'm sure his team has that option on the board right now as well.

Horrible! I just saw this on CNN.

Both costumes are terrible. The fact that his office is taking a while to respond is a really bad sign.

That’s true blackface and a KKK costume. Come on! There’s no excuse.

Maybe the guy was just into doing minstrel shows and wasn't an actual clansman. No wonder a baby killer which is what he degenerated into.
I think its time for the guy to just disappear. And Planned parenthood has some 'splainin' to do for giving him $ 2million dollars. Oh wait.... they were founded by a white supremacist, weren't they? That explains that.

I agree it's a bad sign. Crisis communication dictates you get out in front and respond QUICKLY. Believe me, they are frantically trying to figure out how to spin this - and coming up empty.

They can't. That's why there's been no response. I have a background in corporate communications, and I can't come up with ANYTHING.

In the meantime, Gillespie must be pretty P.O.'d at his opposition research team.
