in very specific terms. two things.
1. read the descent in the Heller case.
Had Hillary won the election the second amendment would have become an artifact of no value at all.
2. Read anything coming out of colleges these days as it relates to freedom of speech. "Protected Speech" would be limited to approved speech. This isn't me saying that. It is a host of liberal professors that are saying it.

Hillary would have appointed a progressive to the court that would have handed the left a generational majority. America has been protected. I don't care what Trump is, he saved America.

so... you have no issue with a person impersonating a minority for personal gain.

glad we cleared that up.

I think what Warren did is wrong. But, I think what she did is less wrong than stealing money from needy children via ones own personal charity, bilking people with a fake university, colluding with a foreign adversary for political expediency, sexually assaulting women, and having a long history of racist and bigoted behavior.

So, between Individual 1 and Warren, I pick Warren. Every time.

She was just playing the system to take advantage of it for personal gain. She's ethically bankrupt but that's not a new revelation.
Except she never received any personal gain.

No sense?

It makes no sense to judge someone harshly for stealing while others get away with rape?

For the record, what she did was not trivial.

On official documents, she claimed to come from a legacy of oppression, dehumanization, and marginalization due to her Native American heritage.

It wasn't just chitchat at a cocktail party. It was against everything that the Democratic Party allegedly stands for.

Regardless of whether it was for personal gain, it is totally against the standards of the Democratic Party, and they would be outraged if a Republican had done the same thing.

I'm proud of Pokeyhonkus for acting in her self interest to appropriate a minority for her own self gain....that's the system we have now, so just pretend you're a minority to get that advantage.

What she did was wrong, but I don't think it rises to the level of resignation. Many people have done worse things, and at most might receive a vote of censure in the Senate. However, I think she's toast as far as Presidential ambitions go.

By the way, Trump had promised to pay $1 million to charity if she would take a DNA test that proved she had Native American ancestry. She did that and, although it was a very small percentage, the test did confirm that she had a Native American ancestor 6 to 10 generations back. Trump weaseled out on his promise, which is typical for him.

Many times I have been tempted to check African American or something else on these forms. Not because I wanted an advantage, but because I don't feel its anyone's damn business what my heritage is. Plus, race is an artificial distinction.

I voted no simply because she represents her State of MA. If the voters there think she's a liar and a cheat, they can vote her out or impeach her. It's their choice.
