It's going to come down to whether or not Republicans will put country before party. I doubt they will.

Christie, providing commentary on ABC, noted that no Republican has made a move to defend the president on the substance of Cohen’s allegations. That has to hurt.

Yeah... keep thinking that. At best, the Dems will try to impeach in the house and it goes nowhere and may end up helping trump get elected.

So let me try to unravel the Republican strategy: They are defending a pathological liar in the White House by repeatedly calling Mr. Cohen a liar.

Uh huh.

There have been so many testimonies against Trump, yet none of them have alleged that the Trump campaign had anything to do with stealing DNC emails or had any back-channel communication with "The Russians" or that there was any known connection between the DNC stolen emails and Russia.

Whether the Trump campaign had any type of insider information into the DNC email dump .. Who cares? Why does it matter? That's called campaign opposition research.

Poor Cohen couldn’t provide any evidence of collusion to keep him out of prison. Now he’ll say whatever he thinks will help his cause. This will pass and nothing will come from it.
