Usual jibber-jabber from the whacko RWNJs. Every successful government has ALWAYS been a hybrid of capitalist and socialist systems. This is because cherry-picking the best of both is the practical solution. We all know where "pure" capitalism or socialism heads in the long run. Valhallian above is getting to the heart of the matter.

sigh, no.

Cradle to Grave capitalistic tactics involving the Health Care Industry.- are evil and immoral.

If convenient stores can get in BIG trouble for gouging consumers for water - at $10.00 a bottle after a natural disaster emergency- then surely Big Pharms gouging Diabetics who are in a genetically derived constant physical state of emergency- is evil and immoral.

It s equally evil and immoral- authoritarian plus capitalistic- to force persons who do not have genetic predispositions to need constant medical care- to share in the $$$$$$.$$ cost of those persons care. Universal Health Care- spreading the $$$$$$.$$ universally to every American taxpayer is what people are pissed off about.

Whoever can get the Capitalistic Health Care Industry to heel to the will of the American people, rather then forcing the American People to heel to the demands of the Health Care Industry, gets my VOTE and should get yours .

I would suggest that someone buy AOC a copy of Atlas Shrugged. However, it is a long book with lots of multi-syllable words, pretty sure the bartender wouldn't get through it.

The right wing has been making everything an all or nothing proposition--it is all black and white. Except it isn't.

The type of extreme capitalism/greed by a few tax brackets and corporations that we are experiencing now does, in fact, lead to moral decay and corruption. We are witnessing that taking place before our eyes in the nation's capitol.

I agree that the Scandinavian model appears to have found the best balance between capitalism and socialism.

But that is a 'gray' area, and does not really fit into the progressive-bashing agenda of the right wing, or Russian trolls, whoever it is that are so obsessed with Bernie and AOC.

If they are so convinced that Trump is the second coming--why are they so worried about a few extremely progressive elected officials?

Well the alternatives to capitalism which seems to run concurrently with Conservatism haven't worked out so well over the long term, just ask the former Soviet Union and Venezuela.

Correct.

So, if you promote helping the poor, then you should pretend to be poor yourself? Seriously?

The mind of a Trump loyalist is a mysterious place.
