You would never get the whole feel of the story from the propaganda broadcast.

State Department memo reveals possible cover-ups, halted investigations

CBS News' John Miller reports that according to an internal State Department Inspector General's memo, several recent investigations were influenced, manipulated, or simply called off. The memo obtained by CBS News cited eight specific examples. Among them: allegations that a State Department security official in Beirut "engaged in sexual assaults" on foreign nationals hired as embassy guards and the charge and that members of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's security detail "engaged prostitutes while on official trips in foreign countries" -- a problem the report says was "endemic."

The memo also reveals details about an "underground drug ring" was operating near the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and supplied State Department security contractors with drugs.

Aurelia Fedenisn, a former investigator with the State Department's internal watchdog agency, the Inspector General, told Miller, "We also uncovered several allegations of criminal wrongdoing in cases, some of which never became cases."

...
Fedenisn, a DSS agent for 26 years, was a part of the team that prepared the draft report and is now a whistleblower who has taken her concerns to Congress.

Two hours after CBS News made inquiries to the State Department about these charges, investigators from the State Department's Inspector General showed up at her door.

No sweetie, Obama locked children in cages. And you didn't care. You didn't.

Another 'squashed' investigation.

That's from 2013

I don't know, wouldn't the R's have investigated the accusations by now and Locked Her Up. I like a juicy scandal as much as anyone, but this one apparently flopped.

The OP is just attempting to change the subject from Trump's disastrous week. And Hillary is always the go-to boogieman the right loves the best for such diversion.

But I will say, if the GOP, with their majorities in both Houses for the five years between this report and 2019, didn't investigate this supposedly grave matter, they are even more inept than I initially gave them credit for.

Or, you know, there was nothing there......

What exactly surprises you? That the Republicans never investigated these supposed allegations? Geesh, they investigated absolutely everything they could possibly investigate when it comes to all things Clinton, but they somehow let this bombshell slip past them?

Don't be so gullible.
