If you read the article you will actually find out that the winter overall in SoCal has been above average, it's just one month that has been below average, February.

To help simple people understand the differences between climate and weather - think of the stock market.

You might be in a bear or bull market but that doesn't mean that stocks will be rising or falling any given day per the way you'd expect them to preform in a bear or bull market.

The fact that climate is warming means that weather fluctuations are more likely to set records for heat than for cold. It seems every year we set a new record for heat somewhere in the globe but for cold, it's merely something like "coldest in 20 years" etc

This February in SoCal is not the coldest on record per your article, much less the winter which has been above average. But the past few summers in SoCal have been the warmest on record.

SoCal gets most of its rain in the winter through dips in the jetstream that bring pacific storms. The warmer it gets, the shallower these dips become, meaning these storms don't make it into SoCal meaning SoCal doesn't get rain meaning it enters drought territory. Similar phenomena is occurring in South Africa where I often joke the Kalahari will expend into South Africa. I was in Cape Town last October, (that's spring time there) and temperatures were soaring into the upper 30s C, WAY WAY WAY above normal, it was that crazy.

Are you kidding? lmao...

That is why the corrupt administration appointed him

Global warming denier William Happer *64 appointed to climate panel

Although Happer has no formal training as a climate scientist, he has nevertheless been vocal on the topic. Happer’s belief that carbon dioxide should not be viewed as a pollutant is reflected in two op-eds he wrote which defend the compound, one in 2012 and another in 2013.

In a CNBC interview, Happer said that “the demonization of carbon dioxide is just like the demonization of the poor Jews under Hitler — Carbon dioxide is actually a benefit to the world, and so were the Jews.”

Happer has multiple connections to the Koch brothers and fossil fuel companies. He served as adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute, which was founded by Charles Koch, and has been affiliated with The Heartland Institute, a climate-denial group that has received funding from the Charles G. Koch Foundation. Happer was on the board of directors at the ExxonMobil-funded George Marshall Institute, and he co-founded its successor, the CO2 Coalition. He has also disclosed that Peabody Coal paid him to testify at a hearing of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission.

Climate change has happened naturally for billions of years. The change happened based on the composition of the atmosphere. To think we can’t artificially change the climate is foolish. We’re adding carbon and other greenhouse gases to the atmosphere daily and at an increasing rate. The fossil fuel lobbyists and politicians want you to believe humans can’t affect climate. Scientists doing the research say otherwise.

Carbon dioxide is NOT a pollutant. It's not a belief, it's a fact.

The atmospheric concentration of CO2 prior to the industrial age was 2000 ppm, about five times what it is now. You can call a nothingburger a crisisburger, but people are just kinda laughing and going on about their day. Hopefully, you have your 12 year climate rapture plan in place already.

Atmospheric CO2 concentration in the 1700’s was 2000 ppm?

How do you know what happens unnaturally and at what rate?

Grand solar minimum. Winters are probably going to get more extreme for awhile. And lefties will continue to blame it on global warming.
