Anyone hearing the story about the US Custom/Immigration Service program that gave amnesty to medically desperate children to receive care here vs being deported...
The families are being sent letters that this amnesty program is being stopped
That no applications for future amnesty for treatment will be granted
The families are told they have 33 days to leave the country—period
There was no one with the WH or USCIS who would give a statement initially
Now that the program’s termination has blown up in their faces w/just limited media coverage
A Boston radio station’s story got the response that it was supposed to be transferred to ICE—a different agency...
ICE officials who won’t give names said they were NOT taking that program, had received no notification, no funds, no plans in place to review any applications for these immigrants...
Supposedly on Rachel Maddow the FIRST meeting between ICE and USCIS happened TODAY—
A week after the letters were printed and mailed—and halfway through the 33 day grace period
and ICE refused to play ball with USCIS and denied all knowledge of taking over this program...
Children in this program are dealing with issues like Stage 4 neuroblastomas, cystic fibrosis, malabsorption that requires extremely specialized treatment and other life-threatening issues
These children are basically terminal, mainly hospital-bound—
And parents are allowed in this country to stay/avoiding deportation because of their child’s illness...
And you get a letter saying you have 33 days left and you will be terminated and should leave the country because the amnesty will expire in 33 days...
You think Trump can’t get any lower—-and then he slithers under a piece of gum stuck on the sidewalk...
I saw this and thought the same as you. If they have to leave many of them will have to be taken out of the hospital to go and it is a death sentence. The lawyers for these families aren't receiving any response from the administration....heartbreaking

It is so automatic for him, his impulse to be pretentious and not admit any wrongdoing, to protect and defend himself at any cost, creating layers upon layers of dishonesty, having no idea of how to be authentic or having a conscience. (Then, getting those around him to support his falsehoods and make things up, besides). As it is said, "OH what a tangled web we weave...."
Apparently having been this way for life and it being so habitual, he may feel he is actually communicating. It must have been pointed out to him how he says things that were not true especially if having been recorded...but what is his reaction? Of course, denial, despite proof. (As his followers do).
Remember when he was "forced" to apologize for his part in the Access Hollywood Bus recording? That must have been unbearable for him, but being made public, he was surely encouraged to say something and could not defend himself. Though, a bit later, he stated that he thought "it was not his voice on the recording"... He just can't stop. And it seems it is the only time we have witnessed any "apology" from him.

Though Trump regularly claims that “farmers are starting to do great again,” farmers know he is lying to them because all around them they can see that farm loan delinquencies and bankruptcies are on the rise.
They don't care for Trump's lies and boo Perdue for making fun of their troubles, yet it looks like they are going to stick with him in 2020.
