The biggest nod to the fact that Trump is a walking time bomb is the GOP’s efforts to withdraw primaries and avoid having Trump run against any GOP challengers.
Kansas, South Carolina, Arizona and Nevada are the 4 so far where state GOP wants to shut out any challengers.
I wonder if they will try to avoid primaries in any state that requires a candidate to provide tax records...

In a state like CA when there is lot of liberals but some pockets of Trump voters, it would be interesting how a more moderate GOP candidate in a primary would skew the vote...
The GOP leadership is trying to avoid having Trump go out on the campaign trail and do anything but have a rally vs a debate...

The more Trump has to behave like a normal sentient being, the more he will prove he is senile

Not just our mfg—but China’s
China is putting money into its economy
Tariffs might be part of the problem but likely slowdown from recession is also part of reason

Recession comes before anyone really knows based on past documentation
Check the 08 for example

Rachel Maddow’s show talking about Trump using US government money to improve his properties vs using his own company money

Had an Air National Guard flight crew stop on way to Kuwait and back at Turnberry golf course resort—where they totally looked out of place and couldn’t afford to buy off the menu

The ANG have spent 11 million dollars since Jan/2017 on FUEL at the local public airport which serves that resort which has fallen on hard times
Fuel that is more expensive than what it would cost at a military bases at normal stops
If this airport closes then Trump’s resort will be drastically impacted
It is much cheaper for the AF to get their aviation fuel at military base
They are going out of their way on this flight to stop at this airport and board crews at this resort....
Never stopped there before Trump was elected...

This is just tapping into taxpayers’ money to keep Trump’s private businesses afloat...
This is ILLEGAL people
It is ILLEGAL for a government employee to enrich himself from government coffers...
This is not like claiming a per diem reimbursement
Or paying the former presidents if they house Secret Service on their property a fair rate for use of housing
This is directly changing NORMAL policy (they never stopped in Scotland before on this trip) to enrich a BUSINESS owned by Trump...

Needless to say the US military is not giving up the info that has been requested from the House committee investigating this unusual flight pattern...

And this is just another example of the con-men associated with this brand of GOP politics...
The idea that Trump is giving up his salary to charity is just a ploy
What does he care about that measly amount of money when he can dip into the Treasure any times he wants to get a boost of financial gain...

Trump putting his business ahead of the nation again.

It's time for Trump to resign.

He will never resign...
Trump is way more brazen and shameless than Nixon and McConnell is no John McCain to call a president out when he violates the Constitution...
In fact there is NO ONE in the active GOP leadership in House or Senate that will say boo to a goose about Trump’s negative qualities...
Amash is the only one to come close and no one wanted to hear his criticism so he changed affiliation...

Yeah another amazing story of corruption in the WH these days. When will the republicans and the GOP machine put a stop to this type of leadership? Sorry leadership is the wrong word to have used - how about criminal action by their man in office.

Apparently the DoJ is hiding behind the OLC’s decision that a sitting President can’t be charged for any crimes while in office except impeachment
The House can impeach but the Senate won’t even entertain the motion—
Just like McConnell would not allow a vote on Merrit Garland for SC Justice

Hong Kong’s protests scared China’s leadership
Don’t know if it helped the protestors win more bargaining power but leadership was/is afraid of that level of activism

Too bad the US is apparently not that committed to keeping a democracy—
You certainly aren’t seeing the same level of people in the street—throwing a wrench into government like Hong Kong is doing...
The activists there have certainly stirred up people’s awareness of what they have to lose
Americans seem much more sanguine—
As long as you let them keep their guns, you can take anything else away...

Resign? Why would he do that?

Not only would he lose the legal protection he has as President, but he's still got work to do for Putin.

Trump's recent nonsense, the sharpie-drawn weather map, his fuss with a movie star, ... are all distractions from his attempts to dismantle US response to Russian "annexation" of Crimea.

Sanctions, removal from G8, military aid to Ukraine, and support of NATO -- Trump's administration is working to remove all four, including "most recently by seeking to take money from the European Deterrence Initiative to pay for Trump's border wall."

ACA gets better public favorability ratings than your idiot sharpie Prez Trumpf.

Yes, indeed.

Strangely enough, instead of replacing ACA on Day One with a health insurance plan that was cheaper, better, and covered more Americans as Trump yammered on about endlessly, the Trump administration is backing a lawsuit to overturn the entire 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA).
