So of course, it MUST be for a corrupt illegal reason. Why are you assuming these guys are corrupt? Because of the corruption in the WH--does that mean everyone is corrupt? No.

You guys will go really low to defend Trump's late-to-the-party decision -- due to MONEY, of course.

MUST? Of course not. MAY? Sure. I'm not assuming anything. Maybe you should look up the meaning of the word "maybe"?

What do you have to say about the other countries that grounded them first before we did?

I think that speaks volumes on who rules this country.

Fine, keep the planes flying, and when another 737 MAX crashes, it will be in this country while everyone else has it grounded.

How do you think that will work out for the industry and paid off politicians?
I think there’s a hysteria that was started by the press and Trump jumped on it. I would have no problem flying on a Max 8 flown by a US crew.

They have been making 737 for decades. It's only the Max 8 version that's affected.

There are probably more 737s out there than any other model of plane. This announcement only affects a small portion of them.

(I miss the 727 which it replaced. Most comfortable flying commercial jet ever built.)

I think it’s a deeper message - control of the airspace. Up one on the air traffic controllers - whose your daddy now? Some planes are terrible - they are old but- anyone one of them can have a misfire and it’s over ! It’s a very heavy man made piece of metal going through our atmosphere at a high rate of speed and tremendous pressure and they stop maybe one hour to be checked on between fights. Let’s see what happens with their research of the planes safety.

I still say it’s an operator issue. And I am a pilot. I believe the airplane is safe.

You are correct. I should have said the MAX variant. It's a new design.

The vast majority of older 737s are not affected.
