I bet she is the most popular Senator today in several States. I have never heard of such a thing before - we could call this "unprecedented" and where is her rational for this?
Is is just that she wants a News Story? Is it that she is totally Senile?

U.S. senator calls on FAA to ground Boeing 737 MAX 8 |Reuters - 3/11/19

Is there anyone here that actually thinks that Boeing Air is willing to deal with the massive legal problems involved IF they had even a small suspicion of any danger to this aircraft?

The Lawsuits are so MASSIVE that any "grounding" is a very, very, very Serious business.

Unbelievable

Many counties including China have grounded the aircraft after a brand new one took off in Ethiopia and crashed soon after killing all 100+ people on board. This is the second time this has happened in a few months. Not sure what you're asking though.

Several countries are grounding this aircraft because of two unexplained crashes in a matter of a few months. If there's some kind of fatal flaw, it's not out of line to consider grounding them until they figure it out.

But you didn't start this thread to talk about that. You just wanted to bash Feinstein.

Perhaps I'm asking about flight training in Foreign Countries and whether a possible lack of training is worth shutting down a Flight program in the USA when there have been ZERO incidents other than in 3rd world Nations. Does anyone have a clue about the ramifications to Boeing, to the people that work at Boeing?

If Boeing threatens to pull their plants and buildings in California, I bet Feinstein will have a change of heart...

I have no idea why Feinstein would do this - just as I had no idea why Feinstein would do what she did during the Kavanaugh hearings. I'm a lot more interested in what the ramification will be to American Workforce.

I do have both knowledge and experience in Pilot error due to lack of training OR arrogance to think they don't need training on new operating system.

Once again ..... NO incidents in Nations that are not 3rd World
Hey ...... if Leftists are Okey-Dokey with putting the screws to Washington State (and others) workers --
I guess I should have just said ...... Good Job Dianne!

Carry on and Celebrate!

If there is a problem following the Addis Abbaba crash, the FAA will issue an airworthiness directive. But that won’t happen until they identify a problem. If Boeing finds an issue they will issue a service bulletin. But they have to know for what.

Feinstein is giving into hysteria.

She's a renowned aeronautical engineer!
Gotta love these laymen offering their goofy opinions on matters so beyond their expertise they look like fools.
