But you didn't start this thread to talk about that. You just wanted to bash Feinstein.
No, it's about unqualified laymen making assertions about something as complex as a new jetliner. There is no fatal flaw.

There are thousands of Boeing's smartest on this.

Where is your ticket on a 737 MAX 8? If your going to talk then do the walk. I can't sleep at night condone Boeing doing this and then a child dies a few months later. People who politicize safety really make me sick to my stomach.

When hundreds of lives are on the line it's always better to err on the side of caution not on the side of being business friendly. There have been incidents that raise questions about the safety of these planes. It's not out of the realm of possibility there is a problem with the design or production somewhere.

You dont think that maybe, just maybe, China is doing this just to hurt Boeing and the US? I mean seriously China is the single greatest producer of absolute crap in the world.

Based on what has Feinstein made this call? Does she have inside information? We know this happened because of a manufacturing or design defect? It absolutely wasn't due to human error? Lack of maintenance and or repair? Procedures not being followed? A natural event like a bird strike to an engine?

Politicians grandstanding completely undermine any rational process.

Don't throw the conspiracy card at me! Take that to the Alex Jones thread. This is about safety. Which some let their political ambitions get in the way which is a disgrace. Southwest and American Airlines are the only ones who are flying these potential deathtraps!

I just flew on one of these new planes. Nice interior, but shoddy construction. Rattling everywhere! And when landing some leak formed above me and I got soaked. I let the attendant know about it.

A 6 month old plane with two accidents already and you tell us we are overreacting. WOW! Again, politicizing safety! Really shocked.
