Not informing the operators of a new system on the aircraft is the fault of Boeing. However, it’s an easy fix, if in fact that is the problem.

Talk about the blind leading the blind.

The 777 is a Boeing product.

And there was never a DC-11.

Is is just that she wants a News Story? Is it that she is totally Senile?

U.S. senator calls on FAA to ground Boeing 737 MAX 8 |Reuters - 3/11/19

Is there anyone here that actually thinks that Boeing Air is willing to deal with the massive legal problems involved IF they had even a small suspicion of any danger to this aircraft?

The Lawsuits are so MASSIVE that any "grounding" is a very, very, very Serious business.

Unbelievable
Well it looks that this thread backfired on you. Many countries including those in the EU and China have done just that. Better to err and not cost lives

And now there is pressure on the US to do the same.

Reality is -- passengers won't choose that plane if there is another they can take until they know for sure.

Many folks are already uncomfortable flying -- they don't need to be wondering.

All joking aside, the same way even a stopped clock is right twice a day, he’s not totally wrong. I think it’s the F35 that needs constant computerized control on the trim surfaces to stay airborne.

But like the old saying goes, you can fly a barn door if you put enough thrust on it.

Do you understand the ONUS was/is on BOEING to make sure any changes, any differences, anything different at all is made extremely almost abusively clear to the fliers and buyers...
