Good news. These planes have been grounded in the US pending the results of the investigation. American's safety should not be at risk for money.

Trump just turned his back on tens of thousands of Boeing employees not to mention the all-important shareholders with this move. Airbus wins!

He knows everything. Just ask him. FAA didn't do this, the wizard did it. Likely going to look pretty foolish when the investigations are complete.

Surely his base, who hardly ever fly, will think it wonderful. Always pandering to his voters. Sickening for America.

The Presidents responsibility is foremost the safety of the flying public not Boeing employees or shareholders.

So, you'd rather he turn his back on 300,000,000+ potential American passengers?

Sounds pretty silly to me.

You've got to be kidding me. There's an actual serious problem with these new planes. When are we going to stop being so partisan about literally everything?

Well, it'd be nice had he fulfilled another responsibility and appointed an FAA administrator.

And YOU know this how? Please enlighten us, the FAA and Boeing. All are anxious to learn what you know.

Finally, something from Trump I can get behind. I may not like him, and who knows how his motivations are really geared, but I support and appreciate this decision from the President. This was the right call, and FAA should have already made it.
