Donald Trump had an A1 KGB agent(Vladimir Putin) assisting his campaign, how could any laymen counter Putin's expertise? Even Barack Obama knew what Putin was up, but said nothing.
The part of that that I heard that I thought might really cause some extreme hair pulling and proverbial head exploding among hard core progressive Trump haters was 'It's a shame that your President had to go through this'.

That sentence doesn't make sense.
You can't be exonerated of a potential crime unless you committed one and found guilty. There was no crime, thus no wrong doing. Hence, no exoneration.
Still haven’t seen the report. And neither has anyone else beside Trump appointee Barr who pooh-pooh Mueller months before the investigation ended. Instead of a “summary”, let’s see the report. If not the citizens, then let the Legislative Branch Judiciary Committees see it. If they come to the same conclusion as the “summary”, then there is nothing left to be said.

Imo, this was never a witch hunt. Trump is a sleaze who has surrounded himself with sleaze. All the indictments, convictions, and ongoing state investigations are proof of this.
Trump has lived his life "successfully" as a liar, gaslighter, and con man. He will never change. And, sadly, it is very difficult to nail people like this to the wall unless you are willing to lie, cheat and manufacture evidence. Which Mueller would never do - but Trump would in a heartbeat.
So, nice guys often finish last. Trump learned that lesson as a toddler.

Well he certainly did not have anyone working in the FBI or the Mueller camp on his behalf like someone else did.
The REALLY sad thing is no one voted for Trump because of his policies The reason you all voted for his is exactly what you mentioned above. Not your country not for party. That’s sad.
