CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert ripped into President Donald Trump in a new interview, calling him a “delicious idiot” and saying that what he’s doing to American families is “horrible.”

“It was a different time when (Leno) was hosting. Now there’s one subject, so people can see your politics more, but I’m fine with that,” Stephen Colbert said during an appearance at Paleyfest, according to Variety.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying what this person is doing to families and the nation is horrible,” he added.

The 54-year-old host also called Trump a “delicious idiot

Just more hatred and bitterness from Democrats/Liberals because they got humiliated in 2016. Nothing more. Pay no attention to them.

He's a comedian. He knows nothing about the economy, world affairs, politics, etc. He says things to get attention. That is his job. Ratings and viewership. He's the same as Kimmel and the others. Blowhards that want attention. Why should I care what they say?

Sounds like Colbert needs a reminder of what "American" means. I think he is actually referring to these families of invaders.

Yeah, whine about hatred and bitterness from Democrats while the head of the Republican party, Donald Trump is such a lowlife he must attack dead former Senators and war veterans. What a pathetically needy for attention, petty, sorry excuse for a man and disgrace to the office he holds.

Amen! I am not really a Trump supporter but this effing idiot is taking Trump hate to the extreme. That seems to be all he can do. He actually makes me sick looking at his stupid face.

I agree with you but you forget to add Hannity and Huckster Carlson to your list of blowhards gunning for ratings.
