It's archaic and barbaric that in one of the wealthiest nations on earth, folks hold spaghetti dinner fundraisers to pay for their child's chemo.

Obamacare eliminated exclusions for pre-existing conditions and created a max out-of-pocket but we have a long way to go.

Everyone should have the coverage our elected officials enjoy.

Have you ever thought that if you got the damn government out of it, get rid of all of those regulations, and have an actual free market, that the prices would plummet?

No, because it's not that the left wants "cheap" healthcare for all, they want free for them at the added ridiculously high expense to taxpayers.

Would you rather a spread-the-death thread on how our health insurance system is failing us instead?

What's the problem? We have "affordable care" now, don't we?

The only failure was Obamacare which stripped millions of their affordable healthcare insurance.

When someone gets sick like that you can have the best insurance in the world and it's going to get expensive. Loss of work, travel expenses and lodging expenses top the list. I know someone that had to make a two hour trip each way 2 or 3 times a week for 6 months. Between the gas, tolls and eat out meals it was costing $200 to $300 a week.

So go start your OWN GoFundMe page, asking people to WILLINGLY donate to YOUR FREE universal healthcare. Be sure to tell them the reason you started it is because you don't think it's FAIR that others aren't paying for YOUR healthcare and that you believe YOUR healthcare should be FREE to you.

See how well that goes over as the rest of us have to pay for our own health care insurance.

Are you suggesting we should have to pay for our own healthcare insurance AND the healthcare insurance of others too? You seem certain that your goal of generosity, charity and benevolence with other peoples' money is somehow acceptable and not theft and that leaves me baffled.
