So you want segregation. These people are discussing a mayoral candidate and if that community is not 100% black then that candidate will be serving other races and possibly other ethnicities should they win.

What don't you understand? You want black people to take responsibility for the black community and leave whites and the government out of playing their role for what happened to blacks. Your expectation is implicit segregation and discrimination.....is it not? The only way for black people to fix black peoples problems is to FOCUS ON BLACK PEOPLE!!!! That is segregation. That is discrimination....because to bring something into focus is to take other things out of focus. Now if you want the government and white people to play and role in the RESPONSIBILITY....then by all means....you are invited to the meetings.


Of course the person that is elected will be serving all the people of the city. THus, it would be wrong for the person elected to have a "black only meeting" about the city, when the city has many races. However, if black people of the city want to get together and decide what is the best course of action for black people.....that is called taking responsibility for black people and again....why do whites or the white press need to be there?

How does a reporter have a role in the goings on of the meeting? Saying "black only press" makes it sound like some clandestine gathering.
