Oh, please caps and bold are only methods of emphasizing things as you would when speaking. Or do you believe when someone posst something like "I'm HAPPY!" they come across as annoyed?

Since I haven't seen you suggest anyone else need justify their opinions I can only see expecting me to justify my opinions as no different than questioning my right to express them without justification.
BTW, I added to the post you replied to, IF you believe the country was so God-full and better in its earlier times, please answer my questions at the end of #25.
I don't think there's a relationship between supporting Trump and being Godless. Yes, Trump and their supporters are not of Christian faith (nothing wrong with that), but that is different than being Godless.
Well, if God is money and your preacher flies around in a Private Jet (many mega-church preachers are this way), you likely may be a Trump supporter.
It's Religion - just a slightly different type. Pray to the King and the Almighty Buck...
I enjoy Penn's (and Teller's) work and Penn holds some libertarian views that I agree with but this is a goofy argument: that a true believer should get in a non-believer's face to push their beliefs and if they don't then they're hypocrites. But I shouldn't be surprised that Penn as an atheist feels this way. Atheists can be just as much of a pain in the ass as Bible thumpers. I like to consider myself a "heathen" or simply a non-believer or skeptic. I believe this is the most rational position to take. But I'm sure not going to get in someone's face and tell them that their beliefs are a bunch of hogwash.
Do you think Penn's argument is discredited, simply because his world view is more annoying than yours?
Nope. You may wonder but you don't read articles you post. You praise the US President even though his religion is greed and sloth.
I have never identified under any religion and I am a much more pious person that many of these so called Christians. The more our society advances, the lower the religious numbers will go. It's a good thing...

According to a survey of 2,538 people conducted in 2014.
When you get into the weeds of the study ( as opposed to a click bait article in an online tabloid) you learn that 80% of the responders believe in life after death, basically the same percentage as 1990.
I don't follow any organized religion but I do believe in Christian values based on the Ten Commandments. Our country has veered away from that by embracing immorality and not respecting the rule of law of which some of the Ten Commandments are based on. I consider that as a downfall of our nation.

And yet you support a man who has veered away from embracing morality and who has broken many of the 10 Commandments routinely his entire life. Is that all a part of your so-called "Christian values?"

If Trump is at the low end of this scale, Clinton, Sanders and most Democratic/Leftist politicians are at the absolute bottom.
We've been Godless and descending into the pit since the 60's......Roe V Wade, murdering the innocent, formerly Christian colleges throwing God and the Bible to the street. People wonder that the USA is not mentioned in the Bible, we actually are but not in a good way. IMO we'll be lucky to make it another 50 at our current rate and there is that one damning verse in the Bible saying ALL nations will be gathered at Armageddon AGAINST ISRAEL..........ALL includes us......so we know the end of the story. A sad road from a nation founded on Christian principles with high hopes........we are still an exceptional nation but one that apparently won't last along with the others.
We soothe our consciences with those "religious" surveys that glowingly describe us as 80% believers, this is a bad joke and the true believers out there know it. As for believers and this age of grace the one source of actual knowledge speaks of a "remnant" being saved as fairly normal. A remnant to me is maybe 5-10% and that may be way too high. One man crying out to God in the OT said "I am the last believer in Israel" and the Lord spoke and said "I have 7,000 who have not bent the knee to Baal".......that sounds like a lot but Israel even in OT times usually had a population of 4-7 million. Do the math on that and see what percentage you get. Our almighty God Jesus didn't report extremely high numbers during His earthly ministry after all the miracles He did......120 in the upper room, 3,000 at Pentecost.......out of millions barely a ripple.
Today is the day of salvation.......the one move you will never regret.......
