Some people, including some conservatives, care what you do in your bedroom. Many do not, so don't make sweeping generalizations. Also many states voted down same sex marriage, but you already knew that.

ok so lets walk thru this.
back in about 1863 we took pictures of PILES of body parts cut off by doctors. these were battlefield injuries that led to amputation. 300,000 men died trying to free the slaves. and 300,000 men were killed to free those slaves. That would be a despicable and hellish period to be an Amerian.
back up a few years, and you have a period where actual real human beings were held as slaves in a legal framework. they were forced to work and breed like animals. Hellish time.
1870s Northerners were punishing the south for the civil war. we call it "reconstruction". it was hellish. In fact the legacy of Reconstruction are with us today with higher rates of poverty and broken education systems in the south.
fast forward to about 1900 and you have backlash from whites over reconstruction forming the KKK and going around killing black people for being black. HELLISH>
shoot during this entire period, gay people, of caught would be luck to be tossed in a jail somewhere.... if they weren't just beaten to death.
fast forward to today. gay Americans have the same rights to marriage as straight Americans. Gay Americans have the same protections as any other minority group.
There has never been a period in American history where gay Americans had more political power. Even the current Republican President had an openly gay man give a speech in the Republican National Convention during prime time.

In reality Hucabee’s nothing but a fear monger racking in the cash from his misguided narrow minded followers. He’s of course very anti Muslim too but shares the same anti gay hate that they propagate.
