So Roy Moore is thinking about running for senate again. Now I thought the democrats were really underhanded with the way they handled the timing of the accusations against him in the last election, but this time around his baggage is a known quantity. I don't care how entrenched Moore is in the state's "Good Old Boy" network, the Alabama GOP would have to be extremely out of touch to think it would be a good idea to run him again.

Lmao, the Ds really could flip the Senate if Rs don’t take back this seat.

Giving Jones another 6 years is all Moore would accomplish.

Doesn't seem to matter to Republicans as long as you are white, straight, and Christian.

Anyways, Roy Moore, should he win, would give the GOP its own Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Can hardly stand this place. Too much racism and misandry and just hatred.

I am not an AOC fan- she seems more a internet personality than someone actually suited to legislating or leadership- but even at he most annoying she has never approached Roy Moore in terms of misogyny, being a purve, race baiting if not racism, being a homophobe and toing the line on religious bigotry. To be honest people in either party seem capable of overcoming one or two of those issues but Moore is literally a bridge too far. I honestly think McConnell will refuse to seat him Rs maintain Senate control.

Alabama. So GOP they came within 24K votes of sending a child molester to the senate. Kind of would be funny if Moore was the candidate again. That is the only way Jones will be re-elected.

I kind of doubt the GOP itself will allow Moore to be the nominee. The GOP primary looks to be shaping up as a peen size contest of who can be the most conservative.
