President Trump is most certainly not the first President to have his "hands tied". But that is neither here nor there.

Let's get to the crux of the argument. Either these people do not belong in the country or they do. That's quite the 180 for the President and his supporters to now embrace allowing these people free entry into the country. Again, "sanctuary city" or not, jurisdictional boundaries mean nothing to someone who just risked their life crossing the border to the United States.

I'd just like a reconciliation from people who, up until a week ago, wanted all illegals deported, to now saying the solution is free transportation to a sanctuary city.

Well, it's time for the liberals to make good on their claims of compassion. The people who vote Democrat should get their checkbooks out to pay for all of these people too.
I will do a celebratory dance when it actually happens.

Right... I thought there was an emergency concerning asylum-seekers in the USA. Bussing them to one city doesn't mean they stay there. We all have freedom of movement between the cities and the states and that includes those here seeking asylum (who are not here illegally) as well as those who have, in fact, entered illegally. So putting someone on a bus to Chicago or San Francisco is just wasting gasoline. They will simply go wherever they wanted to go in the first place. So... that's a weird way to deal with an emergency.

Weird? It's the solution advocated by the people you vote for. Stop complaining about it.

Great news! Again liberals...… you are dealing with a guy who had DECADES of business experience and knows how to play hardball to get things done. You love you sanctuary cities and ignoring the laws -- now you can deal with the consequences.

Bzzzzzzzzt. Incorrect.

Are undocumented immigrants eligible for federal public benefit programs?

Generally no. Undocumented immigrants, including DACA holders, are ineligible to receive most federal public benefits, including means-tested benefits such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, sometimes referred to as food stamps), regular Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Undocumented immigrants are ineligible for health care subsidies under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and are prohibited from purchasing unsubsidized health coverage on ACA exchanges.

Undocumented immigrants may be eligible for a handful of benefits that are deemed necessary to protect life or guarantee safety in dire situations, such as emergency Medicaid, access to treatment in hospital emergency rooms, or access to healthcare and nutrition programs under the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

Sooo where have these people been going if not to the Sanctuary cities? LA and NYC are beacons for immigrants both legal and illegal from everywhere and they are Sanctuary cities so if the "asylum seekers" do not automatically head to these cities where do they go? Why would they go to so called Red states where they are not welcomed?

I think Trump is being very compassionate in busing these people to places that would welcome them. Maybe Trump can put his business/ building skills to work and help direct California to get their failed high speed rail project back on track? It could go from Tijuana with stops in San Diego, LA and up to San Fran.

This sounds like a win win.

But why are the people who were pearl-clutching over these bad hombres running loose in the country now happy that they will be... running loose in the country? That is what's weird. Why the sudden change of heart?

Even Bill O Reilly thinks this could backfire. Go ahead, Mr. President, shoot yourself in the foot...again. And the American taxpayer, both parties, not just the people who live in these cities, will pay.

So, go ahead and smirk away. So, apparently, the RW is now for open borders.
