Many people mock the state of emergency, but the fact is drugs and illegal immigrants are responsible for far more deaths in the US every year than Islamic terrorists. Drugs kill more people in America yearly than terrorists in Israel yet Israel has a massive wall on all its borders, something the left opposes for the US.

Given the threat that MS 13 and the cartels pose, I personally would be in favor of flying drones over Mexico and Central America and directing targeting them. This would also stop the justification of the illegal aliens who claim the cartels are too powerful and claim to be trying to escape them. We can attack the cartels without putting American lives in danger.

Is that the answer to everything? Bomb the hell out of everything?

How would you know that the people you are drone striking are guilty of being members of the drug cartel?
What about all the innocent families, innocent men, women and children?
Or is it that you just don't care about life south of the Border?

Some people say they are "pro-life" but their basic agenda seems to be to kill everything.
I love America, but I think maybe there has been enough of that.

The murder rate is sharply down in most Central American countries and poverty is also sharply down in the last 10-15 years. Life expectancy is up, education levels are way up, access to basic amenities like running water, electricity and indoor plumbing has also skyrocketed.

I think you have a dated view of what goes on there.

Drugs and illegal immigration exist because some people in power want those things to occur.

It's not the problem of others that we can't control ourselves. So to answer your question - no.

I suppose that wiping out the competition is something to consider.

Yeah I think this would even be worse than Obama's Fast and Furious whereby Obama's guns allowed to go to cartels have shot 300+ Mexicans and a few Americans. Obama lied and blamed the policy on Bush. Holder lied to congress about it...and apparently it doesn't count as a scandal to most Americans, because it is just dead Mexicans (and a few expendable Americans).

However, Drone Strikes would likely be worse as it would be military and violating air space.

It doesn’t seem to matter to Mexico that their people are violating our border so F their air space.
