Not many whites at many top colleges anyway since ASIANS as a group greatly surpass all with higher GPA's/test scores yet are still discriminated against at numerous private colleges. ASIANS would be the majority at top colleges if strictly merit based admissions.

Why do Chinese students think it’s OK to cheat?
Kelly Yang says criminalising cheating in the gaokao university entrance exam is a good start to fixing the problem. But parents must also teach their children the right attitude to learning

It’s not just the gaokao – it’s the SAT, the GRE, and a whole host of other exams. An estimated 90 per cent of all recommendation letters for Chinese applicants to United States universities are fake. Some 70 per cent of application essays are not written by students, and 50 per cent of grades transcripts are falsified.

Once the students arrive on campus, more cheating services are available. Last month, Reuters published a devastating report on cheating by Chinese students in the US, finding a thriving black market which includes services to write essays, do the students’ homework, and take their exams. It seems you can now get a degree from an Ivy League school without ever leaving your house!

You get one chance to take college admission test in China...highest scores get in...completely merit based. If US was like that, then Harvard and other top college graduate name lists would look like a Chinese phone book. And speaking of American cheating...how about the college admissions scandal? You can buy your way in with money if lower merit.

There is little doubt many of the top students would be yellow, followed by white. However even without affirmative action, brown and black students have been successful at top institutions.

As to cheating, the uber wealthy have been getting their rich idiot kids into prestigious schools since the dawn of time. I guess some of the fools that got caught were just so brazen about it, they thought they were entitled to get their kids in.
I for one am glad to see them get caught and made examples of.

Pretty small potatoes, apparently, compared with the routine, mass scale deception going on in China and among Chinese applicants to American universities.

Chinese applicants generally have higher GPA's/test scores and work harder from a much earlier age...and we wonder why China becoming the top economy in the world.

Because there are about 1.5 billion of them, so their consumer market dwarfs ours. Better tell whitey to start making babies again if you are so worried. But all this intolerance from the left is probably a big turn off for most white people I would think.

What about if I just tell them I'm Elizabeth Warrens cousin?

I would just dress as an Indian with buckskins and feathers because I have high cheek bones and can pass for one. They wouldn't touch me as I would have my native Tomahawk with me. I have to have more Indian in me than Warren, so if it worked for her, right?

Ha! The coward Libs here are no shows. Love it.

There is definitely truth to the work effort, especially because the US for a while embraced an education anti-culture where being smart etc. made you "nerdy". These days, it's seen in a much better light.

I would point out that you're seeing the top 10% or so from a country with over 3x our population. You aren't seeing the people that haul bricks or put together Nike shoes for a living.
